The victim

Nothing is publicly known about the person Tim Maier.

The crime

On November 26, 2015, Tim Maier left a pub in Bad Buchau with four friends, one of them Turkish. A group of neo-Nazis shouted "Shit foreigners "after Tim Maier and his friends. In the ensuing confrontation, Tim Maier was stabbed to death by the 20-year-old neo-Nazi Achim M.. In the course of a police search of his apartment, swastika flags, Landser magazines and a pistol were later found.[^1] In the trial, Achim M. was sentenced to ten years in prison for manslaughter.
